• Year 5-Rotation of the Earth.

          • Year 5 learnt about the rotation of the earth.

They used a globe to recognize that earth rotates all the time on its axis creating day and night. The students found Kyrgyzstan on the globe and put a piece of tape on it. They spun it on its axis and watched how day and night occur in our country.

          • Secondary students during Maths week

          • During Cambridge Maths week, years 7 to 11 played the Great Tree Feller business game. The students work in pairs to run a Tree Feller business in Bishkek. It is a game of decision and risk: they must send their workers to collect trees in all weather conditions; decide how many days of rest to give their workers; chose wisely during the lottery; face the decision to pay tax or tax evade; and consider rewarding their workers or risk a worker mutiny. Would you make the right decisions? Are you a risk taker?

          • MATHS WEEK!!!

          • Welcome to Cambridge Maths week! This week we are celebrating patterns: Maths is everywhere. Across all of your subjects and in all parts of your day-to-day life we see patterns that can be described using the language of Maths. Around school this week there are Maths challenges for everyone to get involved. Primary will be having a Treasure Hunt and Secondary are seeing if they are risk-takers in a business game of choice and probability. Look out for Maths moments all week!
